Are laboratory-grown diamonds real?
Yes, they are 100% real. Instead of growing in mines for millions of years, with the latest
technologies available to us, they are grown in laboratories. A perfect comparison would be while some have a child through natural birth, others opt for IVF. Similarly, this is the case with laboratory-
grown diamonds.
Are laboratory-grown diamonds glass?
No, they are not glass or fake, but 100% structurally and chemically real diamonds. If you took a laboratory-grown diamond and a natural diamond to a jeweller for valuation, they would not find any difference between the two. Laboratory-grown diamonds have the same chemical and physical properties as mined diamonds.
Are laboratory-grown diamonds more economical and budget-friendly than mined diamonds?
Yes, there is a vast price difference between laboratory-grown diamonds and mined diamonds; in spite of both of them being real diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds are much cheaper than mined diamonds. Mined diamonds which are excavated are much more expensive due to various reasons such as labour, equipment and various other logistics. Laboratory-grown diamonds are created from scratch in controlled conditions by using top-of-the-line and the latest technologies.
Do you also sell loose diamonds?
Ours is primarily a bespoke and curated jewellery set-up but if needed, we can also sell loose diamonds too; mined and laboratory-grown.
Do you have a showroom?
No, this is strictly by appointment and consultation. It also helps in giving you the best price in the market as we do not have overheads to add to costs.
Where are you located?
Currently, we are based in Mumbai, but since this is a purely appointment-based service if needed, we can travel to the client’s destination. Travel costs and insurance of the jewellery will need to be borne by the client if travel out of Mumbai is requested.
What is the difference between laboratory-grown diamonds and mined diamonds?
In terms of physical and chemical properties, they are exactly the same. However, in terms of pricing and quality, laboratory-grown diamonds are much better. Since they are grown in laboratories, their quality is much more superior than mined diamonds.
Are lab-grown diamonds cubic zirconia?
No laboratory-grown diamonds are not cubic zirconias or Moissanites. Laboratory-grown diamonds are considered to be real diamonds, and on the other hand, emulator diamonds like cubic zirconia are not. This is because laboratory-grown diamonds share the same physical and chemical properties as their mined counterparts, whereas cubic zirconia stones have a completely different mineral structure altogether. been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

Are the diamonds certified?
Yes. We have certified and non-certified diamonds and usually certify diamonds only above 0.70ct. Our preferred laboratories are IGI and GIA and we can also run GCAL programs if requested and paid for by clients.

Yes, we have readymade jewellery in stock which can be viewed by appointment only.
Can Laboratory grown diamonds be resold? Will I get a good price it?
Yes, they can be certainly resold in the same way that mined diamonds can be resold. The value for both mined and laboratory grow diamonds depend on the 4 Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity And Carat!
